Our first stop on the Bazbuz was Oudtshoorn famous for the Kango cave and ostriches. Not so worried about the ostriches but the caves sounded good. We set our tent up and booked a cave trip and cycle ride for the next day. We met some good friendly people on the bus already, sure beats worrying about the car. Outshoorn is in a beautiful location surrounded by mountians a good first stop.
The cave were great we went along with Nienke a nice dutch girl we met on the bus. The big caverns were very impressive and beautiful but what I enjoyed most was crawling and squeezing through the small gaps. We all had a good time. The chimney where you had to squeeze yourself up and out and the postbox where you slid down were the best. Check out the picture of the actual size of the openings when we eventually get the photos on. We stopped at a tea house for a sandwich and took a few photos of ostriches. That was enough for Keeley and I having seen them in the wild before and we went back to the hostel. A quiet night watched about half of Shanghia Knights awful film, do not watch then bed. I should add that Keeley has taken her braids out shes not happy think she wanted them in for ever still I think two months is a good go.
