It was very windy when we arrived in Plettenberg Bay we just about managed to get the tent up. Next day we headed off to Robben Cape National Park. To get there we had to walk an hour along beach it was nice walk on the beach. Great views of the penisula, Plettenberg Bay and of the expensive beachside properties. Our first stop on the Bazbuz was Oudtshoorn famous for the Kango cave and ostriches. Not so worried about the ostriches but the caves sounded good. We set our tent up and booked a cave trip and cycle ride for the next day. We met some good friendly people on the bus already, sure beats worrying about the car. We left Nauklaft early and headed to the dunes dropping off our tent enroute. We were not going to get the sunrise but headed straight for Soussvlei. Next morning we got up early ready for another long drive down the Skeleton coast. Lots more gravel roads which slows us down a lot unlike those in there 4 wheel drives whizzing past.
