Just a quick update. Yesterday we took a boat taxi to the nearby island of Ceranaro, and had a little walk around. The water is so unbelievably clear, and even warmer than the pacific was! Today we took a tour and went on a boat ride to do some wildlife spotting! We started by cruising through the mangroves like Gentle Ben and seeing these dolphins leap out of the water as our driver kept going around in circles to please the dolphins! After, we did some snorkeling on some amazing coral, it was so bright and colourful that it really was as you see it in all the cheesy adverts for the caribbean! We later went to another island called Bastineros (i think!) where there is a beach called Reg Frog Beach, where there are....red frogs! Well apparently they are tiny, and we didnt see any, but took great plaeasure is swimming in the bath water and walking along the white sand! Swell is on the way for the weekend, so tomorrow we might do a spot of investigation into more islands, and then move islands on friday to set our selves up for the surf! Only bad thing is, that we cant sell our boards here, so we are going to have to practice smiling sweetly at the airport!!
