We spent New Year in Byron Bay. It was so full everywhere that on New Years eve they have blockades to stop anyone who couldn't prove they have accomadation coming in and sleeping on the beach. We spent Christmas at Rainbow beach. On Christmas Eve we got up early to have a go at surfing it is not as easy as it looks. First night in Airlie beach bumped into the people we met in mission beach and so inevitably went out for a few drinks and had a good night out. Next day we went on the party boat out of Airlie Beach for three days around the Whitsundays. Started our OZ experience bus first stop Mission Beach. Stopped in Babinda on the way nothing town but did go for a nice walk in the bush. Next stop was a crocodile farm not very keen on the place as it was a farm for croc meat and leather. We did get to have snakes , lizards and crocs in our hands which was good.
