Hi there everyone! Well we've made it....Roo has got us through 7000km of pottering down the East coast and here we are in Melbourne preparing ourselves for 'the boys'! Our trip from Brisbane took us along the Gold coast - imagine the costa del sol in Oz style - which we whizzed through quite fast, inland along the Waterfall way which was stunning scenery - and surprisingly had lots of waterfalls to see! - and then into the Hunter valley before landing in Sydney. Wine tasting for 2 days was just fantastic ....sampling and buying came very easily to us!! Sydney was just amazing...in fact we stayed longer than planned because it was so good. A big thanks to Greg for making 'his casa our casa' - Bondi was a very cool place to call home for a few days. The big sights really did blow our minds, but we also loved the feel of the city and partying as though we were students again!! A highlight had to be seeing Sleeping Beauty at the Opera House....standing in the cheap seats, but the experience was just the same!! Short on time to get to Melbourne and with the weather turning dodgey (can you believe it?) we really didn't get the best out of the sights on route. We did enjoy our 6mnths WT anniversary on the way in Bournda NP which was lovely, but the rest was rainy! All in all though, touring Australia in Roo has been a brilliant time...a great way to travel. Not sure about trudging about with a backpack again now! So that's it from us. Hope you're all well.
