Hi everyone! We couldn't wait to get the photos on after the wonderful Galapagos. What an incredible place. Andy's 30th birthday was celebrated in much style...gorgeous funky hotel, pressies gallore, lounging on the beach, a lovely meal out and a few cheeky drinks, all in this awesome setting! We also bumped into another birthday boy on the eve of their big days. Sir David Attenborough was 80 on the same day Andy was 30!!! AND they shared a cake and chat!!!! Not bad going as memories go. And then we went onto our cruise for 8 days. Wowed throughout with new wildlife everyday and completely individual islands. 700 photos is an indication of our amazement! Somehow we have chosen 57 for the website (phew, you all sigh!) and really they speak for themselves. The only thing we couldn't include was the underwater life. Snorkelling was brilliant and we managed to see not only beautiful fish, but also swam with turtles, sharks, penguins and very playful sea lions. Fab. Very difficult to describe - seeing so much in such a remote place where the animals are fearless of humans...very special. It just has to be THE highlight location of WT. Wouldn't have believed that such a place could exist. So there we go. Amazon next so the adventures continue. Cramming as much as possible into our last 4 weeks....can you believe it?!
