I saw giant pandas!! On Tuesday afternoon, we went to Hong Kong's Ocean Park to see the pandas. They're 5.25 - 6.25 ft. tall and weigh about 250 lbs. Did you know that for a while, it was a big debacle over whether they belonged to the bear or the raccoon family? They belong to the bear family. Luckily, we viewed the creatures while they were active, most of which were eating.

I would like to smuggle a panda back with me as well, but I think that might be a bit difficult, given their size. Wouldn't Deuce, the pygmy, the panda and I make such a great family? Just imagine the Christmas cards we could send! Don't worry, Sian, I have figured out jobs for each of them in your wedding!!

While at Ocean Park, we did the Rapid River Rafting and saw the dolphin show. Yes, Penni, DOLPHINS!! I understand if you're too jealous of me to continue our friendship. ;) I added new pictures from this excursion to the Hong Kong photo album.

Tomorrow, we're doing a field trip to a nearby country park, where there are a lot of monkeys. Lance and I leave for Guilin/Yangshuo Friday evening. We're taking a bamboo river raft on Saturday! Jodie and the Griffith family will join us on Tuesday.

Only 9 days until I return home. It's time to start taking up a collection so I can continue my travels!
