Driving from Saskatoon to Moose Jaw isn't the most exciting drive of my life 95% of the drive was on one straight road and of that 95% was through Prairie lands. Me and Mick chewed the fat and Dad slept most of the way.
We went to DNA Tattoo where David (Micks oldest son) gave Dad some new ink while he slept some more. (looks like insomnia has been replaced with narcolepsy)
Moose Jaw has a proud heritage of Gangsters such as Al Capone running moonshine to the states and some history of working Chineese immigrants a little to hard in the laundry industry. We has a few beers and wandered around for a Bite to eat, .... No Subway but there was a "Mr Sub".... Dad wasn't impressed with the lack of meatballs in his butty.
In the morning we relaxed in the rooftop pool at the Spa Hotel which oddly enough held the most wildlife we've seen for days...... a pack of Cougars!
Then we said our farewells to Mick and dumped him at the bus station with his $10 pensioners go anywhere pass.
Back in the car now and heading for Swift Current, then on to Medicine Hat, still great names!
