I slept the whole way back on the bus, on arrival at La Paz around 10am there was a further complication to my travels as none of the taxis could cross the city due to another protest (what is it with this country and protests!) Armed with some dubious directions from a taxi driver I walked back to my hotel, it was as it turned out only a 20 min walk, but when I finally arrived at my lovely hotel (the courtyard is shown in the picture) I nearly kissed the ground, happy to be finally "home".
I spent the rest of the day relaxing and booked a bus tour for the next day to take me around the city and out to Moon Valley. I also looked around the shops and walked around some more plazas and boulevards.
