Pretty much travellin the whole way up the course with Old Man Rob of Phi Phi fame. Doin the whole campin thing reet now, and have just purchased a TV for the tent. My my we have been busy and luckily we are still alive to tell the tale. Next we slow things down with a few days visiting the salt lakes in Bolivia. Hope you are all good. Phil

Macchu pichu was pretty amazing (on par with grand canyon) but hard work, the second day we had to climb 2000 metres and the 3rd we couldnt see nought. However it was all worth it by the 4th day when u first see the big MP(we were the first from that days inca trial). We were even hardcore that we climbed the moutain opposite and refused to pay the 6 dollar fee to the train station so another 2 hour walk down steps. As we woke up 4 in the morning that day we still had the energy to go on the piss and got back to the hostel at 6 in the morning absolute shattered. From cusco we headed for lake titicaca where we visited a floating usland (for tourists) and then went to another island to stay with our adopted family, where we dressed up as local men and dancedwith the local woman. Then on to Bolivia where me and phil cycled down ´the most dangerous road in the world´, we went down 3900 metres along a 63km road reaching a top speed of 60kmph apparently. We also saw many graves along the way which didnt put us off(also got more dvds in la paz one is the great phil collins live in paris). We´ve just been down another dangerous mine where 25 miners die every year, here we bought a stick of dynamite and then made a home made bomb, unfotunately i was the only one in the group who went with the guide to put the flaming bomb in the field, and then we ran 4 our lives (just like a scene from an arnie movie). check out the pics.

Yeh, we did see each other last night. It`s such a pity that you are not around Cusco for a few more days. It would have bean great to catch up. I`ve been feeling a bit under the weather the last few days and wasn`t feeling the best last night (plus I was sober as a judge) so went home a few mins after bumping into you. A real shame cause I`m usually up till about 8.00 a.m. in Cusco!

Where are you off next then mate and what have you been up to since we met in Santiago? Me and Duncan (from La Casa Roja) talked about you a few times in the last few weeks when we were travelling together. (We slagged you off something rotten - tee hee).

So we came back to civilisation last night after doin the inka trail for 4 days, it was quality should hav the pics up soonish, look out for the strange 3 masked men lookin out over Macchu Picchu! Got a bloody cold tho so not feelin great at the mo after me and andy forgot to zip up our tent and it got very cold at night!
