Happy Christmas from Sydney! Yes, we made it here (just...after a Home Alone style sprint through Bangkok airport while they held up the plane that on our tickets stated it was leaving an hour later than it actually was!!) It's great to be in Oz finally, staying at the Wizard of Oz hostel in Coogee Beach, very nice! Weather's been a bit crap so far...pouring rain nonstop day we arrived, thought we'd landed at Heathrow at first! And it's quite cold in the evening, but we've been reassured that we're not even officially in Summer time yet (starts 21st) and that in Jan temps go up to 46 degrees! Anyway, just wanted to say. So now you're doing the south coast Thai beaches?? Lovely. We are trying to get into gear for Christmas but not getting very far yet. We need to de-clutter and tidy before we get the tree down. Whan it's up, we'll send you guys pics.

Sawasdee-ka! The 3 Chicks are back in Thailand - in Phuket down South after a pretty bogging 16 & a half hour journey, which consisted of 3 different buses. Tres pritts!

We had an absolutely fantastic & very eventful 3 days in Hanoi, we will all post full journal entries & burn the next lot of photos to cd a.s.a.p.

Right now, we're just waiting for our room to be made-up in a guesthouse in Patong Beach Resort that we found purely by chance. 400 baht per night (just under 6 quid) & the place has a swimming pool & free internet. Can't be bad!

While we were on the first overnight bus down here - peacefully sleeping, some b***ard picked the lock on every single backpack in the hold below & removed some choice items (my Maglite - sorry Dan & Will, I'm gutted, & my cheap i-pod speakers that I bought over here) & then locked them back up again so we wouldn't notice straight away. Nice huh?

Anyway, hope you're all grand. Thanks for all the messages, keep em coming as hearing from you all so often makes us feel like we're not so far away.
