After all this walking around the city it’s time for a quick bite to eat. Spanish style alfresco cuisine. Egg and chips!!!

After five hours travel and numerous water breaks we decided to get a hotel room in Toledo just south west of Madrid. The rooms were cheap so we got two. I lost the toss and ended up sharing with Trev!! After a hot shower and a change of clothes we ventured out into the old city. WHAT A GEM OF A PLACE. Sadly we left the house in the mountains and made our way across a foggy and misty countryside to Ubeda. From there the weather improved to a bright and sunny 22 degrees across the high plateau towards Madrid. Along the way we met with Don Quixote in numerous guises.
