Hi. After a heavy night of bar crawling in Lessay and chips from the local kebab shop(nothing opens after 9 at night) we finally got going. Weather is perfect for travel, cloudy but dry. The roads in France are empty and being a Sunday even less so. Long straight roads and good music for company made 250 miles go quickly. We wimped out again and decided to rent a mobile home in Brussac. Perfect spot overlooking a lake and very quiet. What we call “nearly camping”. We are edging towards putting up a tent. Keith’s taken a liking to the local cognac and bought a bottle purely for medicinal purposes. Keith tried fishing at the lake but not being a professional nothing bit. Looks like I’m chef tonite pasta and sauce as there’s not a restaurant within miles and it’s Sunday. Here it feels like Sundays of old when nothing opened and it was a day of rest ...memories!!!
