Arrived in Singapore on 22nd December after an overnight train journey from Kuala Lumpur. On our first day we went to Orchard Road which is the main shopping street and did more window shopping! There was a free shuttle bus from our hotel to Orchard Road which was good as bit too far to walk it. Well not that much to write for KL really!! Have spent 6 nights here but found that you can do most things in a day or 2! Did the touristy things like visiting the Petronas Twin Towers, the KL Tower and went for tea in Chinatown. Other than that have spent a lot of time chilling out and doing window shopping!!! Have had a pool at the hotel so spent a few mornings by that but only get sun for a little bit and then its cloudy by about 1pm. Oh its such a hard life...

Had one night in Patong on 8th December, this place was just like Blackpool!!! Very touristy and tacky but was an experience! We found here that you get much better service if you are male and over 40!! Spent the afternoon on the beach, very jam packed. Just had two nights in Ko Lanta from 4th to 6th of December, stayed in a quietish area so seemed the right amount of time. Stayed at the Southern Lanta Resort which was nice and right on the beach.
