We've just arrived in Banff after driving through the Rockies from Jasper over the Glacier and Icefields Hwy.The scenery was sensational real jaw dropping stuff. Snow capped mountains and blue lakes every-where.We're gradually ticking off the animal sightings, as we have seen mountain big horn sheep, elk ,lots of grizzlies and black bears,moose and heaps of little critters like squirrels. Anyway here's some photos.
Our accommodation, or the motorised part of it is running like puffing billy at the moment. All smoke and no go. I am hoping that we only picked up some dirty fuel, but the performance of the truck is of real concern on the below zero mornings. Moisture in the fuel lines appears to the problem combined with the high altitude.
At least that is what I hope it is!
If its more serious we will be in deep poo. We need to find a diesel mechanic in the next day or two.
