After the very informative tours of BMW and GE Additives, the 2019 Cohort had the evening free. Coincidently, Fruehingsfest (Spring Fest) was happening on the traditional Octoberfest grounds. Fruehingsfest is the second, and smaller, beer festival in Bavaria. It is one of the spring fests celebrated throughout Europe. It consists of two large beer tents, rides, games, and local cuisine. Many of the Cohort spent the evening sampling what Fruehlingsfest had to offer while bonding over swollen feet, pleasant company, superb Bavarian beer, and the excellent German hospitality at the Eurostar Hotel.
