Day 4 of the trip began with a traditional Czech breakfast and a walking tour of Prague…for most of the Cohort. Some of the members were still pretty beat up from the intense walking tour of Munich and stayed in their hotel rooms to recover.
The afternoon was a day of leisure, allowing the Cohort members to explore the city on their own. Some walked all the way up the hill to Prague Castle. Others visited Lennon's Wall. Some visited the Strahov Library, while others walked through the Museum of Medieval Torture. Other museums sought, tea rooms patronaged, and a two adventurous members went through Fear House: Central Europe's only haunted house attraction.
For many, the day included a trip to the Palladium, a popular indoor mall just steps away from the Hotel Century. The Palladium contains 170 shops and 30 restaurants. Clearly, indoor malls are still "a thing" in Czechia.
This would be the last day of leisure for the rest of the trip.
