After 3 days of not washing, peeing in bushes and cooking on gas stoves it was lovely to sit on a boat in the beautiful Whitsunday islands and do nothing! We spent the days sailing and the evenings on South Molle Island (one of the 75 Whitsunday islands) in dorm rooms.Unlike Fraser we had all 3 meals cooked for us! On the first day we left Airlie beach and sailed about 2 hours to the island which was to be our home for the next couple fo nights. South Molle was beautiful and had a great outdoor pool and spa! Our first night we spent having a few drinks in the bar as we saw the sun go down then headed to the pool for a bit of nighttime swimming!

Brekkie was at 6.30 so we had an early start the next day before jumping on the ship and heading to White Haven Beach, voted the 3rd best beach in the world, it has the whitest, finest sand which squeaks under your feet as you walk on it! The ship moored a way from the beach and we jumped off and swam to shore. There was a turtle swimming along with 2 of the girls! The water was amazing, a beautiful blue colour which with the white of the sand and the green of the foest behind made the beach a paradise! We spent a couple fo hours chilling then heading back to the boat (this time via the ''Aquaholic'', the tug boat which acted as a water taxi) to sail for a while longer to a snorkeling spot. The Whitsundays are part of the Great Barrier Reef so we had high hopes of seeing some cool fish and sealife. However we were all a bit disheartened when we didnt really see much at all! The water was pretty cloudy and all the wildlife seemed to be hiding somewhere! The coral was beautful though and we all had fun looking stupid in our stinger suits and safetly sausages! (noodles!) We then headed back to base for the night where there was a bin bag party and we were told unless we donned a bin bag for the evening there would be no dinner for us! We all designed and cut our own outfits (we were in a room with Rachel and Hannah from Fraser) and all managed to have a different look which was cool, it's amazing what you can do with a bit of plastic! Rich and Gray, the 2 guys from our Fraser group were being losers and opted out, just wearing them around their necks in order to be fed.

The next day was our last and another early start. The boat took us to another snorkelling spot where we moored for an hour or so before heading back to airlie beach. On the way back the sea became a bit rough. We were sitting at the frount of the boat and at one point the skipper came along to warm us of a big wave..his timing was inpeccable. Just as he annouced that some water would soon be coming on deck a huge wave roared over the top and about 3 guys were washed back and we were complelety soaked! Added a bit of adventire to the day!

Back on calm water we arrived back at base. That night was one of the girls'birthdays so we headed out for a drink with the rest of the group. Free beer, woo!
