Ok, so we got into Bangkok at lunch time on 7th November and went to find some way of getting down to Koh Phangan.We soon found that our only choice really was bus due to the train station being flooded.Couldn't help feeling we were escaping Bangkok just in time, the travel agent had a rubber dinghy in the office in preparation for the floods that were on the way very soon.So we booked our tickets on the VIP night bus and went off around Bangkok for the afternoon...

Ok I've been putting this off as I've gotten so far behind but here we go!.. We took a night bus from Hoi An to Nha Trang arriving on Monday 31st. Took an hour longer than expected due to some kind of lorry traffic jam on a hill in the middle of nowhere at about 1am (strange!!) but we survived it! Hello Everyone! Well its been a little while so here we go...... Since the last blog we went back to Hanoi and then straight to Sapa, a small place up in the mountains, on the night train (about 11 hours) not a bad experience on the train, it was us and an Israeli couple (who we met in Halong Bay) in a cabin together, managed to get a reasonable sleep, although did wake up a few times feeling like I was about to fall out of bed (I had top bunk!). We flew in to Hanoi on Monday afternoon. After being told Laos Airlines was a bit dodgy we were a little nervous but the flight was absolutely fine, we got food and a beer even though the flight was really short! Arrived in Hanoi nice and fresh and someone from the hotel picked us up. The ride into town is where we had a bit of a shock! Well!.... Going back to what we've been up to since my last blog.. Had another day of tubing with Andy and Kaylee, loads of fun and the day had a more successful ending this time as we got back befored dark! Although did have to run all the way from the river to the tubing station to get there in time to get the deposit back! We did it though! Tom lost another pair of sunglasses and this time his hat. At least he came back with his vest and a tube this time tho...
