Get a job? pah...I'd rather be traveling the world
Hello there everyone,
I know I've been really slack and haven't wriiten for ages I promise over the next few weeks to fill in the gaps and add some more photos to this site. Life has been very busy and lots of fun. I finished working at the cheese factory yesterday and had the first meetings at school today. A long day with Chapel, headmasters welcome, group work, teachers photograph, individual photos for our ID cards and then a couple of hours of talks on epilepsy, diabetes, athsma and epipens etc etc... Also had a meeting with the staff who are going to be working on the school show. Sadly I wont be here in term two when 'The Scarlet Pimpernel' goes on stage but I'll be helping out with blocking and set etc in the next few weeks which will be fun.
I've moved into a house in West Launceston with Elizabeth Bennet (the sister of the cheese factory people). She's a drama teacher at Launceston College and really lovely. There's also a girl called Kelly-Jane here for 10 weeks who is the director of the 'Streets Alive' project. A big arts festival running for a week here in town in April. Looks like I might be helping out with that too!!! :)
Am going to miss Deloraine, the Vineys and all the lovely people I met whilst working at the cheese factory. But, they're only 30 mins down the road and since I'm still living with a Bennett I'm sure I'm going to see a lot of the gang!
Hope all of you are well back home. For all of those who I didn't manage to get in touch with, my big sister had her baby at the end of Jan. A little girl called Rosa who is really very cute! :) Mum and baby doing well.
Hard to be away from home at this time, but I'm sure the next 5 months are going to go past very quickly. I know the first 5 have!!!
love to all, keep in touch,
Zoe xx
