sooooooooooooooooooooooooo since i last updated my blog i have had a hectic few days which has been bloomin good fun!! so we spent 5 nights in queenstown which was PARTY central. very good fun. out every night. one of the best things about queenstown was FERGBURGER. one of th BIGGEST BURGERS I HAVE EVERY SEEN. i think the biggest. and absolutley amazingly tasty. sooooo freaking nice. had one pretty much every day. it was in queenstown i realised i had been spending far to much money so fergburger was my only meal for a couple of days. good nutrition right there. i also had signed up for the nevis bungy jump which is the biggest bungy in new zealand and the 3rd biggest in the world. standing at 134m it was a daunting task!!! on the day we went up we were all very hung over and i was jsut psyching myself up, listening to the architects and doing my mental preparation which involves being very quiet. everyone else was talking nervously and having a good time! there was no way i was going to back out. as we got out you go over to this cable car thing which is suspended over a massive cnayon with a tiny stream in the middle. you go out 6 at a time on a little lift thing. very scary. out there they have music pumping so you have a dance around and then get called up and get strapped in. i wasnt as nervous as i expected. as i shuffled out to the platform you look down and can just see this tiny stream running at the bottom. S##T scary. on three you jump. no one hesitated. did a perfect swan dive and actually jumped out rather than fell! it was absolutely exhilarating. you fall for 8 seconds and the ground gets closer and closer and your eyes get wider and wider and suddenly you bounce and the biggest smile ever appeared on my face. i was speechless for a good few minutes. everyone who had done it was jumping around and it was just an awesome experience. now i recon i could do any other bungy. easy. haha charlie didnt do it because of his back but then when i got home he came in with the same bungy bag and a massive grin on his face. he had been to the doctors and been told he was fine so he went on his own to do it. massive respect to that!!! definitely not an experience to miss though!
a couple of days later we headed back to christchurch which was quite sad as we had such a good kiwi bus group. everyone was so much fun and we had some awesome times!!! that night charlie and i and a few others flew straight to wellington as it was cheaper and we were running out of time. we had fun there but its pretty boring. we went to a museum and thats pretty much the best thing we did there. fact. i then split with charlie for a day and came to taupo a day earlier as i got a lift with 3 bermudan girls. good fun. reunited with charlie yesterday and you know what i actually missed him. gay. any way. we havent been able to sky dive as its been to grey but hopefully maybe in fiji or something... mega shame. lake taupo is amazing though and i went to some thermal springs today which was pretty good fun. last few days in new zealand and again dont want to leave! so beautiful here and next time ill definatly rent a camper and do it my self. the kiwi was awesome and ive met some great people. very good times here. aukland next so will write my blog again soon!
