Zak and Mel's Excellent Adventure
After a brief catch up with our friend Alana in Woolongong, we set off over the mountains again towards Adelaide. The first night we stayed in a place called Wagga wagga (pronounced wogga wogga just to confuse), a small place of 45,000 people in the middle of nowhere. We went out for a bit of dinner and a drink, then hit the sack as we still had alot of driving ahead of us. We got up the following morning and after a quick breakfast got on the road again. Driving through endless nothingness for 5 hours was enough for both of us, so we stopped for the night in a place called Mildura, even smaller and even more in the middle of nowhere. The next day, surprise, surprise more driving! Eventually we rolled into Adelaide in the afternoon and went for a quick swim. As we hadn't seen the beach for a few days (tough I know), we found a little restaurant over looking the ocean and had dinner there, whilst watching the sun set. This morning we have been in a couple of museums including the immigration museum which was very interesting. Well that's all from Oz for the moment, more (hopefully) exciting installments soon, love us. xxx
