Good morning from Delhi,

It's 4.5 hours ahead of UK time here & we're up nice and early to get some breakfast and try and avoid the sweltering midday heat of 47 Celsius!

Yesterday was our first day and despite having a small amount of sleep on the plane we arrived and had a quick nap and left the hotel around 2pm. All our fears of being goaded at the airport and constantly hassled were only half realised as there was no one at the airport at all!

For the pedantic ones amongst you, mainly kai, typing on an iPad isn't that easy especially when the wifi is slower than mums morning routine, spell check is the least of my worries.

A lot of the tourist attractions are closed on a Monday so we're hitting the metro (the underground) and exploring further still yet to ride in a rickshaw but it will happen. We're both fine and Ellie still has straight(ish) non-greasy(ish) hair.

Our next destination is Jaipur on Tuesday morning so we'll try and update from there or maybe Agra which is our stop after that.

Ellie's phone doesn't work so if you're trying to text or call it is utterly useless!!

Who knew Delhi has a zoo......!
