Today we went up the tallest building in Tokyo, known as the Tokyo Sky Tree. Waited in line for over 30 minutes and paid 2000 yen to walk around for 15 minutes 350 meters in the air. Definitely worth it! The views were amazing as you literally couldn't see the end of civilization in any direction you looked. We visited a temple called Sensoji (I think) right in the heart of Asakusa, a 20 minute metro ride from Tokyo. Saw a couple weird rituals here such as people literally waving smoke from a strange little hut into their faces, as well as pouring water from a fountain on one hand at a time and then drinking from their hands. Last but not least, we visited Shibuya, an absolutely crazy shopping area home to one of, if not the busiest intersection in the world with thousands of people crossing it every few minutes during peak hours. Unfortunately, we were here on a Thursday at a slow time of day so we didn't get to see it at its busiest. Our hostel room being just three single beds wide and barely over one single bed (that either my feet or head hang over the edge of) long. Lets just say thank god there aren't another two people in here with us or boy would it be cramped (as if it isn't already, haha)
