WOW!

Today has been an amazing day. On my run to the lighthouse at Byron Bay this morning, I saw a couple of bottlenose dolphins and thought this day was special but no, it got much better than this!!! On my walk this afternoon, again to the lighthouse, it's just so beautiful out here, I saw a humpback whale and her young calf! How amazing is this?!

I arrived at Byron Bay in the pouring rain yesterday and thought, oh my God, this is going to be a nightmare, but hey, I was wrong, it was a beautiful day today and the town is really pretty. And how could you top a day like this when you see some amazing wildlife???

Anyway, am moving on tomorrow to Coffs Harbour where I'll be spending the weekend with Scott and Lou. Am looking forward to that as I haven't seen Scott for over 2.5 years by now!

So I hope you all have a good weekend (although I doubt you'll be seeing any whales or dolphins... ;o) ) and keep smiling!
