So were staying in a flat in Brisbane with Splodge and 7 other people, even though its a 3 bedroom apartment! Everyone is really nice and welcoming. They seem to love the Scottish accent. We spent last night drinking Goon, a box of wine, which is the cheapest alcohol here at 12 dollers. Crates of beer can cost 50 dollers! thats like 35 bucks! Its called goon coz aparantly the Aboriginies drink it and once finished, blow up the sack and use it as a pillow! Goon aparantly means Pillow. Not sure how true all this is but thats what the ozzys have told us.

Today me, Andy and Splodge went into the centre of Brisbane to get Sim Cards, a bank account an look at campers. Unfortunately Andy was feeling a bit faint and wobbly so we didnt get much done and just came home so Andy could get some rest. He feels a bit better now but is still very very tired and unable to sleep.

We are all going out to Fiddlers tonight which is a backpackers Bar. We dont want it to be a late one though, we will jus try an exhaust Andy so that he can sleep tonight.

General plan is to sort out a camper, weve seen some pretty good deals so far, and hang around in brisbane until Splodge goes. Then we will be hittin the open road! Woooo!
