Sunday 8th May, we woke up at about 5 am thinking it was about 10 and sat about for hours waiting for everyone to get up. We were planning to head up to coochie at 8am for a day of fishing. So at 3pm we finaly left the house! we all jumped in the 12 seater minibus and headed to this beautiful little island.

We got a boat over and had an amazing view of the coast of brisbane and were met by white sands and palm trees. We spent a good few hours fishing over the side of the pier and caught lots of little butter brim and whiting but we were struggling to catch anything big eneough to eat. There was a kid fishing next to us with a rod about half the size of ours and after about an hour he reeled in a flathead shark! His mum was cooking his tea for him at home so he very kindly donated it to us. We cooked shark and bacon for tea on a little bbq on the beach. The sun set was fantastic! We caught the 10.15 boat back an headed home (via mcdonalds, ahem)

Today we bought our camper! will keep you posted and update the page with photos of it!
