Very quick trip from Melbourne to Yulara, left Melbourne at 9am landing at 11.30 am. with a great view of Uluru as we flew in and with Kata Tjuta in the distance Booking sorted, and we accessed apartment at Emu Walk Apartments, and very pleasant too with excellent air-conditioning.

A walk to the Town Square with very good IGA supermarket, bank, newsagent, tourist good,scasual food and booking tour office. Had lunch at Desert Gardens Hotel,, surrounded by beautiful ghost gums. Checked out the Museum. Towards evening went around on the Shuttle Bus to the Outback Pioneer Hotel for a drink and to buy wine. From a lookout above the hotel we watched the sunset on Uluru
