Childhood memories: skiing on Sundays with your familia. Getting all the stuff into my mother's small car, driving up to Bymarka - the forest. Skiing trough the forest, getting tired and eating oranges my mother brought with her in her backpack to get some energy back. In the end, finding a nice spot, make some sitting places in the snow, make a fire.We would warm the sausages we brought with us and drink warm chocolate.
I went skiing the other day. But on my own. It was quiet and nice and I got tired and slept well afterwards. I took some pictures of forest, and a man walked by, looked at me and said "its only snow". What a Norwegian…
When I was heading back home around three o'clock it was getting dark and they lit the streetlights you find along the paths in the forest. Won't let some darkness stop us from going skiing you know… November and cold winds and snow and cups of tea and exams. This is the time we put out sunflower seeds outside our windows to the birds that stays in Norway for the winter. People have already been staying inside, at home for so long and there are still some moths to come before the craziness of spring time in Norway when people start acting like cows being let out on the mountains for a whole summer after the long winter in their farmhouse. It's something to see.
