Oh my god, the travellling on my own starts here! Paul and I separated and whilst he flew to sydney i took an 8-9hour bus to adelaide. not a bad town actually except not having been there for 2hours a and i mean literally butt coloured bloke walks past me-i was shocked and scared he was gonna come near me! I so wanted to take a pic as u would never believe me! then i spent the rest of the day o0n the beach-whilst lying there some guy says in the background can u believe we are on a beach 3 days before xmas and i was like WOW! i didn't stay long on the beach as i was getting really tired and i was scared i was gonna fall asleep and i don;'t have paul to wake me or look after my stuff! The next day i did a bit more site seeing, not much to do but shop and drink-didn;'t make it to any of the vineries. The weather wasn't too good so idea to roam the city. I actually didn't think adelaide is that bad considering a few people have put doubts in my mind before going! on the day i left i realised that i have a 20hr bus journey ahead-thats 20hours on a BUS! vcould have done with a travel companion! just being on my own for 2 days-well one as i met a and we spent the day together. but the first night i was a bit lost as i had to cook for myself as Paul usally does that!! and cooking for one is very hard exp with left over pasta-can't carry it round with me and eating on your own was just silly! but anyway, better get ready for the next adventure to the outback! which is apparently where backpackers go missing-I hope i don't!! x
