Happy New year from Sydney.After a 2hour delay waiting for James to arrive-delay was my fault as he had to be questioned at customs! but anyway it we were informed by lots of people to go to the botanical gardens early to get a spot for tyhe fireworks-now how early is early so we went bout lunch time and so we waited all day in the sun fopr the fireworks! and u think we are stoopid u should see how full it was when we arrived, people have been getting there since 9am! It was def. worth the wait, esp being in the sun all day! James and I were there with Paul, and my cousin and his friend. The fireworks were truely amazing! you really have to be there, photos do not do them justice and the films are ok! tm James ANd I will start our 2 week adventure of eastern australia!
