We are newlyweds who have been planning on taking a long trip since the beginning of our relationship. Doing something however, is much harder than just talking about it. We would spend hours staring at the big map of the world in our living room, talking about the places we'd like to see and creating possible itineraries . Talking, dreaming and saving money were the easy parts.

The fist really big step was moving out of our home, in order to secure a rental income and not worry about the cost of the condo. The second (and bigger step for me!) was leaving our jobs. But i guess it wouldn't really be a sacrifice unless you're giving something up, right? So now, all these items have been checked off our list:

- savings: check

- condo rented: check

- leave jobs: check

- book a couple of months worth of flights: check

We are now only 1 week away from the first flight and the excitement is slowly starting to sink in.

We are writting this blog to share our experiences with our friends and family and to inspire others to pursue their dreams no matter how impossible they might seem.

Wish us luck and hopefully we can meet up in a far off place!
