Upon arriving back in Auckland, we decided on a little relaxation and some laundry and Craig's aunt and uncle's place for a couple of hours.

After having this "refresh", Don and Gwenda graciously hosted a dinner with a cousin of his mom, her son and his family. As well, Craig's cousin Steven joined us. We had a terrific meal of fresh salads, BBQ and delicious cake for dessert.

The next day, we headed to Piha beach in the West. A hot water surfing beach, with lots of jelly fish on the shore. We hiked up to lions head rock there for a terrific view. We stopped in the local park for a picninc lunch before heading back to Auckland.

Upon arriving back, the decision was between the museum or a swim at Mission Bay Beach. After leaving the frozen tundra of home, the beach won out, of course.

We finished off the day with another delicious meal and then a spin in Don's 1955 chevy to Steven's house to end the day.
