Well there is no use putting a photo of Mount Wellington up today because you would have been very very lucky if you got a glimpse of it through the cloud and rain. Indoor was the place to be today. Some went caving and to the Hot Springs, some went under cover on the Red bus, some went on a foodies tour of Bruny Island and another couple spent the best part of the whole day at the Cascade Brewery!! The morning started out as clear as a bell and there were so many things to do on such a beautiful day. The picture is of Mount Wellington from our hotel. Everyone is busy getting out and about and catching up for a chat in the evening. The weather is not looking so good for tomorrow, but we will all still have a great day I'm sure. The seafood in Tasmania is absolutley amazing so most of us are taking full advantage and eating our way around the state!

We scattered in all directins this morning. Some walking to Battery Point and sampling the coffee shops, checking out the old buildings and others heading south to the Huon Valley. There is so much to see and we have all had different experiences, but the cover image is of a Lancaster truck which is loaded with apple boxes at "The Apple Shed" where there is an apple museum and cider tasting. An early start for some, with a short drive from Derwent Bridge to Lake St Clair. It is the end point for the Overland Trek. We were all assembled at the gravel football field in Queenstown this morning for presentation and morning tea. The Western Tasmania car club put on a great week for us. We left Queenstown for Derwent Bridge about 12. The boys had found a ghost town that promised some spare car parts, where some bits and pieces were found...
