After flying into melbourne from cairns we jumped on the coach to heathcote to stay with clynton and margaret again. Going from northern queensland to victoria, we quickly noticed the difference in temperature. It was freezing!!!!

On wednesday we had a nice day out at sovereigh hill in ballarat, an old goldmining village/museum.

On friday they surprised us with a long road trip down to experience the great ocean road. in the 12hours we travelled 691km and saw such sights as the 12 apostles and london bridge.

Saturday morning they brought us down to melbourne to visit their other daughter nicola and her husband scott. during the day they showed us around the city of melbourne visiting an art gallery and the sights. we finished the day with a quality meal out followed by a trip to an art deco style cinema to watch the latest johnny depp movie dark shadow. (this is where melbourne hostes its red carpet premieres) a really fab day out!

Today we have spent the day with the whole family celebrating australia mothers day. Sad to say goodbye to clynton and margaret as they left us to stay at christies and davids for tonight. we are very greatful to the whole family for looking after us so well.
