We said goodbye to christy and her family on wednesday, very greatful for them looking after us! We arrived yesterday to a very very wet Canberra with 100% chance of heavy rain all day! So we spent the day at the national gallery and war museum. We were meant to be staying in four bed mixed dorm which we were little worried about but luckily know one else came in! Very excited off to Sydney today. Xxx

Had a productive few days here in melbourne, yesterday took a trip on the murray river on a paddle steam boat, good fun, today we have been into the city, sorted out all of our transport for heading up the east coast. we set off next week on a hop on, hop off greyhound bus service, 1st stop being canberra then onto sydney! Now having lovely home cooked meal with beths family christy (2nd cousin twice removed!) or something like that. 37c so greatful for the airc...

Flight went very smoothy both impressed with the super jet a380. Such a big plane but smooth and little engine sound. Didnt get much sleep as there was such a big selection of film and entertainment to choose from so we were quite impressed! Weve had a nice first day here in Australia, very greatful for clyton and margaret (relatives of bethany's) for picking us up from melbourne airport at around 7 in the morning. We then drove 2hours north to there lovely home...
