Arrived on the beautiful magnetic island yesterday. The hostel is lovely set in lush forest and a wildlife sanctuary.won tickets on raffles to tour the sanctuary and hold koalas today! Gonna ask about working here for accommodation which could be a way of saving some dollars plus a real experience! Watch this space!!

We got to palace backpackers saturday night and met our seven person team who we would be driving,eating,drinking and sleeping with. It was a great group including four Canadians,a swiss guy and us. Our time in Gympie has come to an end. Heading to Hervey Bay this morning and hitting Fraser Island on Sunday. Had a great time catching up with Matthew and Emily. Its flown by! Visited Woondum Nation Park which had gorgerous rock pools and flowing water. Arrived in gympie on thursday night. Within five minutes of arriving around matt and emilys were treated to chicken casserole with more veg than we have eatten in weeks!! Went to Emunda market on saturday which was something to see then headed to a crazy australian themed pub for a beer. Today is the final day at gagaju bush camp. Had a great time here but now ache everywhere! canoeing for two full days thought the everglades was very hard work! whether has been great aswell. The first night we were given the luxury of a pillow in an uncomfortable bed then next two night we had nothing in a tent! The noises where unbelievably loud from wildlife outside! We are now on to the next part of our adventure heading to gimpy tonight.
