Left a rather wet auckland on friday and arrived in sunkissed fiji just 3 hours later. We arrived on the coconut airways plane with tropical songs playing as we landed!!! As we walked into the airport where greeted by full band in Hawaiian shirts singing!! Hotel in nadi is nice but looking forward to getting boat to a tropical island on monday. £25 each per night including all food!! Having some relaxation after the hectic new zealand trip!

Since hobbiton we drove north to the costal town of coromandel. Here we visited hot water beach and did a fantastic walk to cathedral cove. Really enjoyed the thermal experience in Rotorua. Visited a living maori thermal village called Tewhakarewarewatangaoteopetauaawahiao!!! Mouthful! Had a tour,saw a maori Performance and tried 'hangi' meal which was basically roast chicken with veg cooked underground using the thermal heat! Been busy week carried on up the west coast. Visited the pancake rocks and then headed inland from greymouth. We had a great day relaxing in hamner springs. Not surprisingly the main attraction was the natural spa and mineral pools, which we spent hours laying in! All different temperatures and smells!
