So after a bit of a heavy, but fun night! it was up early for Phi Phi, and Maya bay!!! as i was only going for two nights and was going to be returning to the Banner Leif hotel i only packed a small bag and left my big bag in storage! It was a taxi to the port stopping at a few hotel to pick others up! i was sat at the back and got chatting to an Ozzie couple who were also on there way to Phi Phi! we chatted about our travels and my experience in O.Z.!! all the way to the island!! once there we agreed to meet up for dinner that evening! Phi Phi is a couple of islands the biggest being Phi Phi Don! this is where you stay! now there isn't really any roads here so i had been told that the porters from the hotels come down to the port to meet you with a wheel barrow to put your bags in! and then you walk back with them! i had been warned by Aee that Phi Phi was very expensive and that there were no real police there ether so it was best to spend a more money on a nice hotel then to go for a cheap hostel! the hotel i was staying in was nice! i had a little en-suit hut up in the hills! with great hill views! it was a 10mins walk in to town but it was ok, i wasn't there to party! just to chill and go to The Beach! just like Leonardo had!! so once i got to my room! it was a case of catching up on some much needed sleep! then going to meet Andrew and Meg the Ozzie's i had met on the boat!! i didn't really want to go! just grab some food and have a early night! but i had a ranged to meet them and had no way of contacting them, so i felt it would be wrong to just leave them there, waiting! so i went, and although very tired, it was a nice evening, we found a open air restaurant! which had a bid screen and it was playing the movie The Beach! this was great as i would be there the next day!! i guess it was just on repeat! but it got us all in the mood!! after dinner we decided to go for a walk as we really hadn't seen any of the island! it was really just like a smaller much dirtier Koh Pang yang! i wasn't really in the mood so after a while we decided to go home! on my way how ever i bumped into some girls from the week before on Thia intro while i was chatting to them 3 of the girls from my group walked passed on there way to meet the rest of my group (minus Matt) who was home now! and persuaded me to join them! i wasn't that fussed but i wanted to go to see Dom and have a catch up!! and in true back packer style it soon got messy its so easy when your drinking out of buckets!! i stayed for a couple of hours! but remembering the only reason i was there, was to go to Maya Bay i left them to it!! and some how found my way home through the maze of little streets back to my room!! The morning i used very constructively and caught up on some much needed sleep and my blog! then off i went! this and the Full Moon party were the main reasons for why i had chosen to visit Thailand! on our way there we stopped at monkey island! and got off for 10mins! that's when i saw Kayley, Jade and Vicky the Welsh girl in my group! they where on a different boat but also going to The Beach! we then stopped for the the people who had paid to do cliff jumping! it looked a lot of fun but it wasn't something that i was aware of so i hadn't opted to do it when booking! i had just opted for snorkelling, Maya Bay and sunset trip!! so then on to the island, first we stopped in a different bay! and swam and snorkelled! it was some of the best i'd ever done!! while on the boat I'd had problems with my camera! it had been getting knackered for a while! but not now! please don't break now, 2mins from the beach!! but i spoke to soon! that was it! 6 months and 3582photos later! it was done! but i had taken photos daily hole trip! and now in the one place i really wanted to take a photo! i couldn't! but as the boat pulled in to the bay i saw the welsh girls, they let me take photos on there camera, and i would save them to my computer later! Maya bay was great, but to take a photo without any one else or any boats in it is a very difficult task!but i tried my best! i then had a little explore then it was time for home! as we made it back to Phi Phi we watched the sun set, a great end to a day i had waited so long for! That night i was still knackered so it was pizza and T.V. while i nipped out for the pizza i looked for a new camera, as Aee had warned me it was so expensive i wasn't going to by just look, but i found one similar to mine for 7000bt. as i was walking home i could hear a storm on its way! and it sounded big! i made it make in time! fortunately, because it was really big! i was glad to be at the top of the hill! but it passed with out to much trouble through the night! in the morning its back to the port and back to the mainland.
