Thai Boxing

The world is my school today my classroom is at Thai Boxing in Bangkok, Thailand.

Here is what happened:

1st Fight-Blue won

2nd Fight-Blue won

3rd Fight-Red won and Blue knocked out

4th Fight-Red won

5th Fight-Blue won

6th Fight-Aussie (blue) won and knocked out the Italian. Aussie weighed the most out of all the fighters and Italian weighed 2nd most out of all the fighters. This was the most exciting game.

7th Fight- Blue won

8th Fight (main game)- Blue won red knocked out

This was a very interesting type of Boxing because at the beginning of every game the two boxers would give each other a man hug and do a ceremonial dance in the ring. They do this ceremonial dance for their teachers as a show of respect to them. Then their boxing coach would take off flowers from around the boxer's neck and a band from around the boxer's head.

This is my favorite king kind of Boxing. It's so interesting how you could've been enemies with someone or good friends and when you're in the ring you give them a lot of respect. For instance if one person felt like they needed to stop and have a break the other wouldn't punch or kick them. And at the end of every game there is always a man hug or a fist pump.

I think this is the only sport where you show great respect for your opponent while your punching and kicking them.
