Christmas in Chester....We thought Christmas was all about relaxing and enjoying ourselves. Well, we did a lot of that but this year it's also been about packing, cleaning, ironing, shopping and clearing enough room in the garage for the car. But we still managed to have great time with the 'youells' 'barbers' and the 'jones'!

Here we are in Welshool having our last visit before we go. The weather has been very wet but the water stayed in the banks of the Severn so we could reach Welshool without any deviations. Saturday we did lots of shopping for Christmas and for our journey along with lots of other seasonal shoppers who insisted on dawdeling or just stopping with out signaling in the middle of isles. Here we are in Chester getting ready for our big adventure. Lots of things to do and so little time to do it. 18 Days to go! Excited, apprehensive and a little bit of angst! How are we going to get everything into two rucksacks?
