80 climbers including a record number of 8 women competing, 28 degrees with blue sky's a slight breeze and the sweet sweet smell of crêpes being made in a little van behind me. A slight detour into the hills to pick up a forgotten helmet and troubles with the bus. Top speed of 90kph can't be a good sign. So a quick pit stop and all seems good again which is pretty good as I didn't think we were going to be able to get up some of the hills to get out. All that just for a helmet.

Leaving Frankfurt just in time. It's been raining alot.

It was so hot yesterday that I think even the van nearly had a melt down with all the fans going and stuff. Well the best night the other weekend and the best day today. Sun, cycling, sand, sea and .......... Well food obviously. We went back to the lake we found the other day and it was amazing. Sandy beach 30 degrees and 20.5 degrees in the lake. I swam for a hour or so to the pontoons and back trying to persuade Stu to man the f**k up and get in but with no joy.
