1 hour later a trip to the hospital,
Everyone was very helpful apart from the receptionist who looked like she was chewing wasps and couldn't understand the difference between The United Kingdom and The United States, but we all managed to communicate eventually with the help of a friendly EMT guy.
Another examination then x-ray. No brakes or fracture luckily so all that was left to do was the drilling. Not quite what it says on the tin but never the less pretty gruesome. A needle put in the nail and twisted until the blood seeps out. Repeated until pressure is slightly released. A couple of ultra strong pain killers and right a rain. Well with one lolly pop finger that is and back to work we go.
Perhaps not so much climbing as grip is some what impaired by humungus bandage.
Not forgetting to pay our 10€ which is pretty good value all things considered
