Finally we arrived on Koh Phangan, after a short tuk tuk journey from the pier we arrived at our hotel for the next 4 nights 'sunrise drop-in'. As it was 5am and our friends weren't arriving until atleast 10am we decided to check into our room and grab a few hours kip. Grabbing our towels we headed out our back door onto the pool, yes we had the best room in the hotel right next to the pool. At first we were basically the only people at the hotel and had the whole pool to ourselves, but slowly the hotel started to fill up. Kelly and Charlotte hoped to 7/11 to stock up the fridge for the next few days, our favourite milkshake, crisps, yogurts and Oreos! Waiting patiently around the pool for our friends to arrive, obviously we are in Thailand and nothing is ever on time! First to arrive was Beth and Vanessa, followed shortly by the boys and later in the evening Laura and Kim! Tonight was the coral bungalows pool party, everyone was very excited! Everyone grabbed there vodka red bull buckets and we decided to go to the dancing elephant as this was were Tim and Lloyd are staying. As it was son kran (Thai new year, a massive water fight across the whole of Thailand) yes you guessed it, we spent ages getting ready only to get drenched as we walked down the road. Already looking like drowned rats we shortly decided to make our way to the pool party. One by one everyone jumped into the pool and got a little merry, obviously the night was never going to end without a disaster! Charlotte face planted the floor causing a massive black eye and chipped tooth, ouch!
