Took the MRT to Outram Park, then changed to the line for Marina Bay, took and the no. 402 bus, and voila, we arrive at Marina South Pier. Took a ferry, it cost $15 for a return to this island and neighbouring island, St. John's.
St. John's Island was nice, but there's very little there- changing rooms, showers and a cafeteria (which wasn't open).
It was an incredibly sunny day, so Nikki and I, sat on the beach and collected shells. The beaches were really nice and clean, it was so different from the city part of Singapore- with no construction sites and very little tourist attractions.
On Kusu, there's a turtle sanctuary where the turtles live underground, there's loads of them. We spent 2 hours on each island, and because there was no food places we were starving after. On the way back we had fish and chips from Bugis Junction for $5.90, they were amazing as nice as home, if that were at all possible
