The day before our departure we took the the tour of Buckingham Palace. Quite impressive but I am glad we don't have royalty in the USA. Looks very expensive. Went to the Brixton area of London then headed home for our early departure the next.

We traveled from Edinburg to London by train on Sunday, September 10th. Jill saw Harry Potter' s platform 9 3/4. On the11th we went for high tea at Fortnum & Mason. Finger sandwiches and any type of tea you could want. We shopped went for Thai food. Seem to rain then sun ever fifteen minutes.

After St. Andrews we returned to Edinburgh. In the morning and early afternoon we spent time at the Edinburgh castle. After the castle we visited Holyrood Palace The queen's home in Scotland. We then shopped and stopped at Cadenhead whiskey shop. That evening we met Marion and her son Fraser. Unfortunately Marion had to leave early due to her mom not feeling well. Edinburgh is a beautiful city that we will visit some day again.

We traveled by train to Edinburgh. Eat dinner. The next day we traveled by train to St. Andrews. The school and the town are gorgeous. The university was established in the 1400s. The town and university are quite isolated. The golf course and beaches are stunning. We ate that night in Edinburgh at David Bann a vegetarian/vegan restaurant. This was recommended by Paul it was excellent and high end. A place anyone could eat at the as the food was so generally goo...

We took the fast ferry from Belfast on September 6th went to another vegan restaurant then hit the sack. We walk around Glasgow the next day. Visited the Glasgow cathedral. Then saw the St. Mungo's museum. Also visited the Tim Hortons on the conner. A nice city it's the biggest city in Scotland, tends to be a bit more industrial looking.
