We have finally arrived in Paris from Hong Kong with a few bumps along the way but nothing to worry about. Once we went through customs and collected our luggage, we had our driver waiting for us inside the terminal and felt good to be picked up after a long flight and taken to our hotel Opera Frochat. Once we checked in and settled in, we decided to take a walk around the near by streets. On our walk we came accross this nice old church and a few restaurants near by our hotel. After choosing the restaurant Tea Folliers, we started the evening with a drink to celebrate the start of our journey. With a little persuading from Angela, I decided to try escargot for the first time to see what the big deal was with eating snails, got to say they were quite nice. So far what I have seen of Paris I quite liked and found it to be a very nice place, looking forward to seeing some more.
