We arrived in Chiang Mai (in the north of Thailand) at 7 am having had hardly any sleep! We found our way to a cheap guesthouse and slept for most of the morning. The longest bus journeys of our lives... we travelled overnight from Luang Prabang back to Vientiane (12hrs), where we jumped in a tuk tuk straight to the bus station.
