hello all again

were in byron bay at the moment since i last wrote we have been to the MCG in melbourne to watch a twenty20 game the ground is absolutly huge holds something like 130,000 the game was a close one and it was boiling hot 37 degrees!!

after melbourne we went back to sydney for 1 night, then we caught the oz experience bus to travel up the east coast. Our first stop was a place called barrington it is real outback in the middle of knowhere im suprised they had running water we spent the afternoon swimming in the river and the evening eating pizza and chilling and drinking round the campfire.

next stop was surf camp we had 2 surfing lessons it was cool i managed to stand up on the 3rd attempt even mece stood up fpr a bit! we are proper surfer dudes now!

then we got to byron bay and its really nice here the beach is beautiful and the towns pretty chilled. first night here we were in a bar called checky monkeys where the was plenty of dancing on the tables and other drunken antics.

we did a day trip to a town called nimbim where we stopped off at a waterfall before going to the town its a propper hippy comune town where they smoke all sorts and believe in free love and other hippy stuff its a really strange place.

today we hired out electric choppers and cruised up to the byron lighthouse the most easternly point of oz. we looked like bikers cruising on the bikes.

off to surfers paradise on sunday so i will keep you updated have a look at the photos and take care
