Dreams are made of this stuff,......
Began in bangkok with some amazing sights the hustle and bustle of the city, the hub of thailand and the amazing view from our roof patio, we start the tour in Grandeville hotel in china town, amazing hotel with very friendly people. met my roomey for the month Hannah from oxford, amazing girl get on very well we started the tour well as room mates by getting on our swimming costumes and having cocktails on the roof in the jacuzzi overlooking the bangkok skyline. Group consists of crazy OZ' and an american, a few english (leeds, oxford and essex and a canadian), wonderful people all up for a laugh, and were all struggling with the heat. 36c at 6am is something to make you sweat. and what alot of tht we have been doing!... you know its hot when the locals have umbrellas up or sweat beads to match your own! sick but true.
Its a whole other world from england and what im used too, bangkok is scary but a must see, we saw What Pao, a temple up the river took a crazy boat fed some lucky cat fish in front of the monks, Had some amazingly weird but wonderful food, then took a night train to Chang Mai, which is rural thailand, still bussly and warn but in comparison to bangkok its manageable. i dont expect the temp to drop but my god i love the inventor of air con!!!,.... just been for a elephant ride which was the most amazing journey through the jungle, such graceful animals and so lovingly kept. we went on a bamboo raft too down the river. great fun, stopped in a local but extreemly rural town for some amazing food, best ive ever eaten!! were headed to another temple to see sunset and monks chant and maybe even get myself a goodluck blessing....night market or massage is on the cards too, action packed schedule but all things that make this experience fantastic, .......tip for later.....avoid green curry!!!....;)
